I keep re-reading Catching Fire… and I just love Finnick so much. 

But then I remember Mockingjay. 

SPOILERS FOR MOCKINGJAY: Every time I think of Finnick’s death, I don’t think of Mutts, or anything. But I think of Annie. And how she would react when she found out. Who told her? What did they say? What did she say when they said that they had bad news about Finnick? Her mind would flash back to their wedding day, and the way Finnick never let go of her hand even once. And now, it’s just… gone.

Why would you make me feel these things?? =’(

OK, so here are the peeps I would be happy with playing Finnick. Just my own opinions.


Hunter Parrish

I had always wanted him to play Peeta. But I’m more than fine with Josh, because I freaking love Josh. But Finnick is like, my second favorite character and I really, really, really, love Hunter so he is my front-runner.

PROS: He is amazing. And he obvi loved the books cause he wanted to play Peeta. 

CONS: He’s 5’7”. Other than that, he is flawless.



Armie Hammer

And I hear he is quite popular for the roll. I don’t love it… I don’t hate. He does seem like he would do great as Finnick.

PROS: Dude is tall- 6’5”. Manly looking and very gorgeous. 

CONS: He’s not my favorite either. But, again, I wouldn’t be disappointed. I just want a good Finnick.

I approve of this list!! (If you go to the original post its longer but I think these two are the main contenders so I shortened it a little) I think either of these two could make a fairly worthy Finnick. I shall be keeping a bigger list in my mind and post it out eventually. I want you guys to tell me what you think when I post it :)

Seeing lots of people talking about who should play Finnick, I honestly don’t have an opinion yet other than he HAS to be ovary explodingly beautiful, great arms so he comes across powerful enough, have a gorgeous smile where his eyes light up where he teases Katniss, on that note his eyes have to be spectacularly coloured (Yes they will probably end up using contacts, nobody is REALLY that perfect XD), yet horribly tortured inside, and if they don’t get his relationship with Annie right I shall kill people…. I am passionate about Finnick okay….. I will be heartbroken if he’s done wrong.

I am far too in love with a fictional character, especially since I am in love with his relationship with Annie as well…. 

Sometimes I think about Finnick and I get emotional.

Is this an Unpopular Opinion or do quite a few people feel this way? : Hunger games.
